While we record books, magazines, and newspapers for Talking Book Libraries, our unique focus is a one-on-one relationship with individuals who have special needs for materials not recorded elsewhere.

Kentucky Accessible Materials Consortium

The KAMC is referred to as a “consortium” in that it would serve as an interagency source for accessible digital materials, benefiting not just those agencies covered by state legislation (i.e., Kentucky Department of Education and all postsecondary institutions) but also other agencies who serve individuals whose disability for limits their access to printed materials.
Kentucky Talking Book Library

Our mission is to provide library service to individuals who have a visual or physical disability that prevents them from using standard print materials. We send books on tape and Braille books through the mail at no cost to our patrons.
We are part of a nationwide network of cooperative libraries headed by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, which is a division of the Library of Congress
