The July meeting of the GREATER LOUISVILLE METRO ARC will be on July 10th, which is the SECOND Tuesday, due to the Independence Day holiday.

We will have "Movie Night" and plan to show 2-3 short videos. The longest one is titled, "Through The Same Door: Inclusion Includes College" and is about a young man with a cognitive disability who is realizing his dream and attending college.

This should be a fun and informative night! Come out and join us on July 10th - 7 PM, at the Bon Air Library. Bring a friend!

What: This workshop is being held to educate consumers, church officials, agency professionals or anyone concerned with the paratransit application, eligibility and appeals process. The workshop is free and open to the public however registiation is required because seating is limited. To register and obtain workshop materials in alternative format please call Metro Disability Coalition information line @ 894 —0197 no later than July 15, 2007. Interpreters will be provided. The workshop trainer will be Marilyn Golden, policy analyst for Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, (DREDF), located in Beridey Calif. Ms. Golden is a nationally known expert on the ADA and para transit issues.
